Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

    I'm trying to confirm that there will be an Everest Challenge 5k run this year. I think I saw that the dates were established for May 1-2 but it hasn't been announced. Can you confirm that the race will take place and the dates? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Mark your calendar! I can confirm the 2015 Expedition Everest® Challenge Weekend will be held May 1-2, with registration opening to the public on December 16, 2014. 

    I also suggest signing up for runDisney Email Notifications. This is a free service that will help keep you up-to-date on registration information and race details.
