I’m trying to buy a pass for my 3 year old daughter. Does she need her own MyDisney account or can they both be in my account?

    Hello there, Dana!

Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for bringing us a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with your little Mouseketeer very soon. The only thing better than a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is experiencing it alongside your little ones! Now, let's get your tiny Disney Princess set up with theme park admission.

Dana, will this visit be the first time your little Mouseketeer needs her own theme park ticket or Annual Pass!? As you know, Guests ages three and up require theme park admission. So, if your little one doesn't already have a profile created in My Disney Experience, let's get her set up with one! The easiest way to complete this process is by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Before you purchase your daughter's theme park tickets or Annual Pass, open the mobile app and tap the "☰" icon, then scroll down and select "Profile." Next, tap the "Family & Friends List" tab, scroll down, and select "Add a Guest." Click "I'll enter their name and age." Then, enter your daughter's details and select "Add Guest." Since you're creating this profile on behalf of a minor under the age of 13, you'll manage the account and be responsible for linking your daughter's account to any others who want to include her in plans!

Once you've set up your daughter's profile in My Disney Experience, her name will appear in the drop-down menu when you go to purchase theme park admission. During the checkout process for theme park tickets or an Annual Pass, just select your daughter's name to have that admission type linked to her! When you tap her MagicBand+ or Annual Pass at the turnstiles to enter a theme park, either you or your daughter will be asked to scan a fingerprint for entry. (I always used my own fingerprint for my son up until our most recent visits, just to simplify the park entry process!)

Dana, it's a whole new world when your little one is old enough to experience the Walt Disney World Resort on their own theme park admission. My son got his first Annual Pass this past year and we've made so many unforgettable memories together in the theme parks - I wish you and your little one the same! If you have any additional questions about visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with your daughter, please feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
