    I’m trying to buy park tickets without my friends, whom I’m linked with on the Disney app knowing. We are surprising them on their trip and don’t want them to see we have tickets for when they are there. Is this possible?

    I’m so happy to see that you’re planning to visiting Disney World next month! I hope that you get some time to visit EPCOT for Food and Wine Festival! The Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli at the Forest & Field booth is one of my favorite dishes this year — I hope you get to try it! YUM! 

    In order to change what your linked friends can view on their My Disney Experience Account, you are going to need to update their settings on your My Disney Experience Account.

    -Log in to your account (you’ll need to log in to the website and not the app to do this)
    -Click the “My Disney Experience” tab
    -Select “My Friends and Family”
    -Scroll down and select “Edit Settings” on the person you want to edit

    From there you can toggle through what they can and cannot see. If you want to be 100% sure that they will not see what you would like to keep a surprise, I recommend removing them from your Friends and Family list. You can ALWAYS link yourselves again later, but this may be the best way for you to keep your tickets a surprise!
