    Hi, I’m trying to buy the lightning lane multi-pass for my family. I see the option for my wife, me and our 11 year old son, but not for my 8 year old daughter (who I bought the child entrance ticket for). Does she need her own lightning lane pass to ride?

    Welcome to planDisney, Pravesan! I'm so excited you brought your question to us today! Your vacation will be here before you know it, and securing those Lightning Lane Passes is a great way to plan for maximum magic and minimum wait times! Let's jump right into the details!

    Pravesan, to book Lightning Lane Passes, first make sure that each guest has their valid theme park admission linked to his or her My Disney Experience account. For your daughter and son, since they are under 13 years of age, their accounts will be managed by an adult in your planning party. Next, if you have theme park tickets that require you to make theme park reservations, be sure you have completed this step.

    Once your tickets are linked, there are a few things to remember about booking Lightning Lane Passes:
    • Ensure you are in your eligible booking window - for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel, this will be 7 days before your check-in date. For guests not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, this will be 3 days before your park visit. If you are within your booking window and staying at a Disney Resort hotel, make sure that all guests are linked to your valid resort reservation.
    • Guests outside of the United States and Canada are not able to purchase Lightning Lane passes through the My Disney Experience mobile app until they are in the United States.
    If you have completed all of these steps and verified your eligibility window and are still not able to see your daughter as part of your travel party, I would recommend reaching out to a Cast Member for assistance through the chat feature in the mobile app. To find this, click on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right-hand corner and then scroll down to find Chat With Us.
