I'm trying to do our budget for food and I was looking at the character dining but it says child and adult. What are the ages for children and adults. I know that under 3 is free but is it the same as the park tickets or different?

You're correct, in that the age guideline for theme park tickets is the same for Character Dining as well. Children under 3 are free. There are two price categories: children between 3 and 9 years of age, and everyone 10 years of age and older.

If you're interested in a Character Dining experience for your upcoming trip, I recommend making an advance reservation prior to your vacation. Character Dining is highly popular! You can easily do so online or by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE to speak with a friendly Cast Member.
