Hi Sarah,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Sarah, it sounds like that specific Resort may be sold out for that timeframe. Hakuna Matata, there are a few things you can try!
First, I suggest adjusting your days slightly, if possible. So instead of arriving on the day you’ve chosen, choose a day later or a day before. You can also try doing this for your check-out day as well. Sometimes, I’ve had success just playing around with the dates when a Resort seems to be sold out.
I know you mentioned
Disney's All-Star Music Resort, but have you tried seeing if there are other hotel options? For example,
Disney’s Pop Century Resort and
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort are very similar to All-Star Music. Pop Century is a great alternative because in addition to the bus transportation you have the
Disney Skyliner (which is my favorite mode of transportation)!
If the above doesn’t work, you can reach out to a Cast Member at the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations desk to see if there are any other options. You mentioned that the line was busy, have you tried calling first thing in the morning? When I need to call in about questions, I do so around about 7:00 a.m. in the morning so I’m in the queue early.
As you’re waiting to speak with a Cast Member or reviewing your other options, make sure to check the Walt Disney World Resort website multiple times throughout the day. Cancellations do happen which can help you with your reservation!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you continue planning your vacation. Best of luck finding your All-Star Music Resort reservation, I’m rooting for you! In the meantime,
if you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
