Hi Leticia! Welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on becoming a Disney Vacation Club Member!
Disney's Deluxe Villas offer some of the best accommodations across all of the Walt Disney World Resort property. The
Copper Creek Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge have been at the top of my list for quite some time. I love that these rooms are located directly in the main building of the Lodge and not separated, as is the case with many other properties. You must be extremely excited to stay at your home resort for the first time!
When booking transportation to and from the airport, make sure to request a drop-off/pick-up to
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Although the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are close by, it is a completely separate resort and not where you need to be dropped off. This can be slightly confusing since the word Wilderness is part of each resort's name. You will have a rather long walk ahead of you with luggage in tow if your transportation decides to drop you at the Campsites.
I'm excited for you to finally get a chance to stay at your home resort! The dining options located here are second to none.
Geyser Point Bar & Grill has been one of my go-to restaurants for quite some time. I have even taken a boat ride from the Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Wilderness Lodge just to have lunch here on a few occasions. If you haven't made reservations already, try to snag a spot at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. It has amazing food, whimsical décor, and characters to interact with throughout your meal. It truly is a treat to dine here.
If you have extra time built-in, spend an afternoon visiting the
Copper Creek Springs Pool. It's a picturesque area themed perfectly to what I expect the Pacific Northwest to be all about. Your party will have a relaxing day enjoying all the recreation and amenities the resort has to offer.
Leticia, I hope you have a magical time on your upcoming resort stay!
