I'm trying to book tickets for my party of 11 who are all listed as guests and family and friends on my account. Why is mobile delivery not showing up as an option?

    Hi Bridget, welcome to planDisney!

You sound an awful lot like a Fairy Godmother, planning a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your excellent 11. I visited The Most Magical Place on Earth for many years as a multigenerational party of 10. The youngest in that group is about to graduate from high school and I'm so thankful for the magical memories we shared. I'll always remember his Darth Maul face paint on a particular visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios, mostly because it appears in a family photo on my favorite coffee mug.

When purchasing Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets online, start by selecting the number of days you plan to visit, the first park day of your visit, the ticket type, and the number of tickets. It sounds like you've gotten that far already, so let's continue. The next screen gives you the option to purchase Memory Maker - Advance Purchase, which I recommend because it gives you unlimited downloads of everyone's Disney PhotoPass media throughout your trip.

On the official Check Out page, you assign each ticket to a member of your Family & Friends List. I understand you're already connected with everyone in your party as Family & Friends - well done! The Delivery and Contact Info step is next. Here's the thing, Bridget - no matter what delivery option you select, your tickets should automagically be connected to everyone's My Disney Experience accounts. The default Will Call delivery selection is essentially mobile delivery and does not require you to stop by Guest Relations or a ticket window unless you'd like to pick up admission cards. Other methods of entry include Disney MagicMobile passes and MagicBands.

Disney MagicMobile passes can be downloaded in the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Disney MagicMobile). Keep in mind that Disney MagicMobile passes can only be downloaded by the account owner. In the case of children under 13 or adults with My Disney Experience account profiles managed under another account, only the managing adult can download their Disney MagicMobile passes. MagicBands linked to an individual in My Disney Experience will automagically connect to all of their linked tickets.

If any of the tickets you purchase do not automagically link to a My Disney Experience account, they can be linked using the number in your ticket confirmation email. In addition to valid admission, don't forget each person over the age of 3 requires a theme park reservation for each park day.

I hope this information helps clarify how the online process for purchasing theme park tickets works, Bridget. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly with any follow-up questions.

    Plan magic; planDisney.
