Hello and welcome to planDisney, Autumn. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about my favorite way to spend a Disney day -
park hopping!
Park hopping returned to us at the start of this year, Autumn. With its return, came some changes. Here is how park hopping is currently working:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have standard theme park admission with the park hopper option
- Guests wishing to park hop must have park pass reservations for the theme park that they wish to visit first each day
- On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other theme parks later in the day
- Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening.
- To make park hopping a little bit easier for Guests, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided.
When you make your park pass reservations, Autumn, you'll want to be sure you are making them for the Walt Disney World Theme Park you want to visit first each day. You won't be allowed access to the next theme park without scanning into the park with the park pass reservation. It is not necessary or even possible to make park pass reservations for multiple theme parks in one day. You'll only need that initial one each day and then you'll be able to freely hop the rest of the day given it is after 2:00 p.m.
My favorite way to spend the day at Walt Disney World is enjoying one of the theme parks bright and early in the morning before the park tends to fill up. Then, around lunchtime, I like to head back to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that I happen to be staying at for some pool time. Once I've had my fill of fun in the sun, I like to clean up and head over to Epcot for the evening hours. It's fun to end the day with food and drinks around the
World Showcase.
I hope you enjoy your park hopping days, Autumn. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and happy hopping!
