Hi there, Murray!
Welcome to planDisney! It looks like you're planning a holiday visit to the Disneyland Resort, how exciting! I always love seeing Sleeping Beauty Castle, but there's something extra special about seeing it covered in magical snow!
While dining reservations are usually released 60 days in advance, sometimes the chefs of the Disneyland Resort cook up some surprises around the holidays. I called and spoke to a Cast Member at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa (Hi, Dominic!) and he let me know that it appears that reservations for
Storytellers Cafe over the Christmas weekend are slightly delayed. So the good news is, they aren't all gone!
The next part will require some diligence on your side, because my best recommendation is to
keep checking first thing each morning to see if reservations are available yet. Right now it looks like reservations are open through December 21, so hopefully your dates aren't too far behind. You can use the Disneyland Mobile App to search for dining reservations, but I think it's a little easier to do on a computer.
I especially like that there's an option to search for any dining availability across the resort at the same time! Are you so excited to experience the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort? You should be! The
Disney Parks Blog has given us some amazing previews of what to expect this season. If you're looking to add a little extra magic to your trip then I highly recommend making reservations for the
World of Color Dessert Party. It offers the perfect view of
World of Color - Season of Light and you can enjoy snacks, treats, hot chocolate, and even adult beverages for those 21 and older (with valid identification, which means an original passport for international guests). This party is my #1 favorite experience in the parks right now!
I'll be crossing my fingers and sending lots of pixie dust for you to find that dining reservation, Murray! Sending wishes for a wonderful holiday and a happy new year!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
