I'm trying to book for the sci-fi dine at Hollywood Studios but I've never gotten any schedule. It seems to me that the tables are only for 4 people. As we are on 6 persons, could this be the reason why I never get it?

    Hi Mariana!

Getting advanced dining reservations at Walt Disney World can be tough especially for those popular locations.

The Sci Fi Dine In Theater is a popular restaurant in Hollywood Studios. The kids love the idea of sitting in a car and the adults love the old sci Fi flicks on the large tv screen.  The set up is that large groups cannot sit at a table where they can converse but instead they sit behind each other in car seats. You can look at the gallery of photos on the link to see that the seating in these cars is two in each of three rows. Six persons should be able to be accommodated very easily.

Because of the popularity of this location it is likely they fill up at the 180 day mark for vacation guests. If you wait then you might not find openings. YOu can always try getting a reservation for four persons and then another for two guests and when you arrive let them know the two reservations are together. They would do their very best then to seat you in the same car or close to each other where you could actually talk easier.

Good luck and hope this helps you get a "car" there for your next vacation!
