Hi Gisele!
Disney's Riviera Resort is a very popular destination! Availability at
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels can change frequently, so I definitely recommend keeping a close eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website and checking back often. Sometimes rooms open up due to cancellations or changes in plans.
Visiting the Walt Disney World in mid-January is a wonderful idea! It's typically a quieter time of year with smaller crowds, and you might be there just in time for the start of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. This festival is such a fun and colorful celebration, featuring amazing art installations, creative food offerings, live performances, and interactive experiences. You and your friends could stroll through the park, taking in everything from chalk art to live Broadway-style performances and even some very colorful and creative food options. It’s a unique and immersive experience!
If Disney’s Riviera Resort doesn’t have availability, but you're hoping to stay somewhere with access to the Disney Skyliner, there are great alternatives.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a beautiful, tropical-themed hotel and serves as the central hub for the Skyliner, giving you convenient access to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Another option is
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, which offers elegant accommodations and is within walking distance to EPCOT, while also having Skyliner access nearby. Both would still keep you close to all the excitement!
Make sure to keep checking for updates on availability. I hope you’ll find the perfect spot for your trip!
