Hello! I’m trying to book a reserved viewing area for January 4th at Disneyland Paris, but the website is showing it as not available. Could you please check whether this date is already sold out, or if bookings for that day haven’t been released yet?

    Bonjour!

Welcome to planDisney, Alisha! I am so glad you stopped by with a question about Disneyland Paris. As a UK Guest, it is one of my favourite Disney destinations to visit, and I never get tired of experiencing the magic there! I have been lucky enough to visit all of the Disney Parks around the world, and Disneyland Park in Paris always stands out to me as the most beautiful of them all. And that is saying something, as there is some very tough competition!

Bookings for reserved viewing can currently be made for reservations booked directly through Disneyland Paris up until March 2026. I have checked and can confirm that reserved viewing for Disney Tales of Magic on 4 January 2026 is sold out. I know this is not the answer you were hoping for today, Alisha, but do not worry, you will still be able to enjoy a great view of the show!

If you would like to be close to the front, I recommend grabbing a coffee and a snack and securing a spot in the hub area around an hour and a half before showtime. Be sure to dress warm, as those January evenings can be quite chilly. If waiting is not for you, you can also catch a great view of the show from Main Street, U.S.A., around 20 minutes before showtime. Watching from this area also allows you to enjoy the beautiful projections on the building facades along Main Street, which really adds to the experience!

January is a brilliant time to visit. My family more often than not visits during this period, as we find the crowd levels are a little lower. The sun also sets much earlier, which means the nighttime spectacular is shown at a time our toddlers are able to enjoy. When we visit in the summer, they are usually fast asleep by showtime!

I hope this helps answer your question today, Alisha, and that you have the most magical time visiting Disneyland Paris in just a few weeks. If you have any more vacation planning questions as your trip gets closer, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

    Merry Christmas!
    Matt
