    I'm trying to book reservations for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios for my family's May trip, but the dates are blacked out. Is this event no longer operating?

    Hi, Jenny!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to a galaxy far, far away.

    I am a huge fan of fireworks dessert parties!  What could be better than combining sweet treats with spectacular fireworks views?  Since I'm also a huge Star Wars fan, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is definitely on my list of must-do Walt Disney World Resort activities.

    Unfortunately, the schedules for events such as fireworks dessert parties tend to be a bit unpredictable as to when they are released.  Some of these events are available for booking as far in advance as 180 days, similar to dining reservations.  Other event schedules only become available two or three months in advance.   So far, I have not heard anything about the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party ending, so I would recommend that you keep checking the Walt Disney World website to see if the schedule for this event is extended into May.  In the meantime, you can also follow the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest Walt Disney World Resort news and announcements.

    In addition to Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, there are many other ways for guests to explore the Star Wars universe while visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It sounds like the Force is strong with you, Jenny, so I'm sure you are also planning to travel to Batuu to experience Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  Before your visit, you might want to check out our Disney Parks Moms Panel Guide to this immersive new land.
