Hello, Amanda, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for coming to us with your question. I understand your excitement about
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures – it is certainly a magical experience to indulge in a three-course meal while being greeted by Disney Princesses! I'm happy to share some information that may help with your planning.
Amanda, as you mentioned,
Napa Rose restaurant will undergo a renovation starting in April, with an expected completion in fall 2025. But there's good news: During this time, Princess Breakfast Adventures will continue with a temporary location at the Trillium Ballroom. This area can be found in the Grand Californian between the main hotel entrance and the courtyard near the Downtown Disney District entrance.
I took a peek at the dining availability for you
on the Disneyland website and the
Disneyland mobile app. While there are blue squares on the calendar marking the dates when Princess Breakfast Adventures will be offered, I noticed available reservations are fairly limited. This is a popular experience, and spots tend to fill up quickly! That said, new dining opportunities may be released anytime between 60 days and 1 day out, so you might want to keep checking. For example, at the time I'm writing this, I see a few slots available for two Guests this Thursday, which shows that it's possible for reservation opportunities to show up as a date approaches.
Amanda, since you're looking for a special experience to have with your little one, I wanted to share a few more ideas that may interest you:
- Consider a version of a "yes day" at Disneyland! During a recent visit, I gave each of my kids three decorated popsicle sticks that they could "redeem" for a ride, snack, and souvenir of their choice. It made the day extra special on top of the fun we usually have in the park. Or, you can start the morning with a lovely breakfast at Plaza Inn with Minnie & Friends.
- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique inside Disneyland is an enchanting experience for kids ages 3-12. There are a few different packages to choose from, but what they all have in common is your little one will get the royal treatment with the help of a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice. After finishing up here, you can go to Royal Hall to meet Disney Princesses and watch a performance at Royal Theatre.
- Goofy's Kitchen, located at the Disneyland Hotel, is also fun. Sometimes, during the meal, Guests swing their napkins around and cheer on Disney pals who dance their way through the restaurant.
Amanda, I will sprinkle some pixie dust and make a wish that your plans come together for a magical day at the Disneyland Resort, filled with tasty food and happy memories. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We at planDisney are always happy to help!
Your pal,
Kriss
