I’m trying to book lighting lanes for my last two days at Disneyworld but it’s saying my party has reached there limit but we have Disney tickets till January 3rd… I’m confused on why it won’t let me continue to book

Welcome to planDisney, Scott. Thank you for reaching out. With your trip just a few days away, let’s jump right in and see if we can clear up the confusion.

The first thing to understand is how Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchase windows work, because this is often where the issue shows up. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections seven days before arrival for the length of their stay, up to fourteen days. Guests not staying at a Disney Resort can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass three days in advance of each park day, one day at a time. Knowing which category you fall into is an important first step in identifying why the system is stopping you.

Another common reason for this message has to do with how many park days are tied to your theme park ticket. Lightning Lane Multi Pass availability is directly connected to valid ticket days. For example, if you have a four-day theme park ticket, you have a set window of time to use those four park visits. Once all ticket days are allocated or used, either by entering the parks or by making Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchases for each valid day, the system will not allow you to book additional days even if your ticket expiration date extends through January 3rd. In that case, the system sees no remaining park days tied to your ticket.

To see exactly what Walt Disney World is seeing on your end, head to the main Walt Disney World website, hover over the My Disney Experience tab in the top right, and select My Plans and Tickets. After logging in, scroll through the My Plans, Reservations and Tickets section to review your ticket type, remaining park days, and any Lightning Lane purchases already made. This is the best way to confirm whether you still have unused park days eligible for Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

If everything looks correct and you believe you should still be eligible to purchase for those final days, I would not wait. Head to the Help Center on the Walt Disney World website and call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number. A Cast Member can look directly into your account and dig a little deeper to see what is causing the limitation.

I hope this helps you get things sorted quickly so you can focus on enjoying your vacation. Have an amazing trip and happy holidays, Scott.
