I'm trying to Book a Group Cruise for the 2023 Summer Leaving out From New Orleans or Galveston Texas what are my Options?

Ahoy there, Francesca, and welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so excited you're looking into setting a course for adventure on Disney Cruise Line! My family and I have made so many magical memories aboard the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and whether this will be your crew's first cruise or you're all experienced deckhands, I know you'll have an incredible time!

I WISH I had better news for you, but currently, cruises from Galveston and New Orleans are only scheduled between November 2022 and April 2023. With the recent release of the cruise schedule through 2023 across the entire fleet, it doesn't look like a Summer 2023 cruise departing from those great Gulf-side ports is an option.

I can say that from personal experience, we've found the winter and early spring months to be some of our absolute favorite times to sail - though that may be the Midwesterner in me talking...We love the usually lower crowds, non-blazing-hot temperatures, and sometimes more affordable shoulder seasons to get even more value out of the already amazing amount of experiences that are included in a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

If your crew is set on sailing in July of 2023, however, I'd sail on over to the Disney Cruise Line website and use the "Find a Cruise tool" and select the month of July 2023. This will show you all the cruises leaving from every departure port! We just got off a cruise on the new Disney Wish this July and let me tell you that was an incredible experience - and there's no shortage of available itineraires!

Oh, and I nearly forgot - you said you had a group! Lucky for you, when making your reservations, you can reserve up to FOUR staterooms on a single reservation! So if you're packing the staterooms to the gills, that could mean up to 20 Guests are able to sail on a single reservation! If your crew is bigger than that, no worries, you can always call a Disney Cruise Line crew member to help with your planning or to link several reservations together

I hope that helps you set a course for adventure, Francesca! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue your planning, please drop me another line here at planDisney!

Fair winds, following seas, and happy planning!
