I'm trying to book our fastpasses (they opened yesterday) and I'm concerned as to how much time I need to leave in between the reservation times. Can I book say (9:20-10:20 on the Safari and then 10:30-11:30 on Expedition Everest) or do I need more time?

I prefer to book my FastPass+ reservations back-to-back in the morning if I want to optimize the FP+ system so that I can book more once I've used all three of my allotted, pre-arrival FP+. Although Animal Kingdom is a vast theme park, you will have an hour to use each FP+, so even if you arrive at the end of the window on your first FP+, you'll have enough time to stroll to the next one--even make a restroom break--before its window of time expires.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

TIP: Although I recommend folks ride the Kilimanjaro Safaris first thing in the morning while the animals are alert, you may not need that 9:20 a.m. Safari FP+ if you are going to arrive at the theme park at rope drop. The large safari jeeps hold large numbers of people and are ready to roll at park opening. Plus, the queue provides interesting objects to hold guests' attention spans while in line. Consider saving it for one of the first few showings of Nemo or the Lion King for a good seat.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
