I'm trying to book Enchantment dessert preparty for October 12, they're not available to book yet. When will they be able to book? I am already inside my 60 days and don't want to miss out since it's the only Enchantment that week

Hiya Drew - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks so much for stopping by with some questions for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

Advance reservations for many dining locations as well as Enchanting Extras, such as the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Pre-Party, can be made starting 60 days in advance. If you are a registered Guest at a Disney Resorts Collection property, you can make most reservations for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days) 60 days prior to your arrival. I see that you're arriving on October 10th, which means that if you are a Resort Guest, you would currently be in this 60+10 day window to book for October 12th.

There are a few different things that might be going on. First, it's possible that this event is not eligible for for the +10 window, which means that it will be available to book for you and any other Guest starting bright and early tomorrow morning, as tomorrow is the start of the normal 60 day window to book for October 12th. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, is your Resort reservation linked to the My Disney Experience account you are using to try and make the dessert party reservation under? That is required in order to access this booking availability for your entire length of stay. It could also simply be a technology glitch - you can call and speak to a Cast Member who may be able to assist you in making the reservation today, if reservations are available for you.

Lastly, and this would be most unfortunate, it is also possible that the event will not be held on that evening. Various dessert parties and other special events don't take place every evening, even if there is a Disney Enchantment performance, and this isn't always evident on the web-based booking calendar. I've found that dates will sometimes be grayed out, which can mean no event, or that an event is sold out. Other times, when I know an event is not scheduled for a specific night, I'll still see the date as selectable on the booking calendar, but upon searching will see that there are no available reservations for that date.

If you have the time today and are a Disney Resort Guest, I would recommend calling or using the chat feature in your My Disney Experience Mobile App to inquire about why you aren't able to book this experience. Otherwise, plan to get an early start tomorrow morning when reservations for this date open to everyone!

I sincerely hope you are able to book this experience for your crew, but if not, be sure to check out all the other Enchanting Extras which can add some extra pixie dust to your visit!
