Ahoy there Rhianna!
Welcome aboard
planDisney, and thanks for cruising by with your question. My fellow crewmates and I just love to start planning our Walt Disney World vacations as soon as possible, so I understand being excited to get your trip officially on the books. Currently, room-only reservations and
vacation packages are available through the end of 2022. We're still waiting on bookings to open for 2023 and beyond, so I recommend checking the website from time to time or contacting an authorized Disney travel planner who can do the work for you. Vacation packages tend to be released in the spring or summer for the following year, so I would start checking more frequently in a few months. Fortunately, you'll be visiting while Walt Disney World's 18-month long,
50th-anniversary celebration is still going on, so you'll experience all of the EARidescent excitement!
While you wait for your magical vacation, I'd be happy to suggest a few things my family and I do to help the time pass before our adventure begins. If you're a
Disney+ subscriber, check out the new, "Celebrate 50 Years of Disney World" section, which offers Disney Parks content like Imagineering Story and Behind the Attraction. Both are fun and interesting for all ages, but my littles scalawags prefer the shorter Behind the Attraction episodes.
Also, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and
find us on social media to keep up with new attractions, restaurants, and resort offerings that will be available during your trip. Finally, check out some of our
Panel Extras for more ideas about
getting the whole family involved in the planning process and
fun ways to count down to your vacation.
I hope this is helpful, Rhianna. I wish I had more exact information for you, but for now, I'm going to recommend that you continue to check the
Walt Disney World website and Disney Parks Blog for updates. Thanks again for floating your question by us, and we'll see ya real soon!
