Hey howdy hey, Jennifer, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I noticed this same issue the last time I searched for October
dining reservations, so I’m glad you brought your question here! I checked in with Disney Dining recently, and was told that
park hours haven’t been set for the entire month of October just yet, so that’s why we aren’t seeing any breakfast or dinner reservations open. I know how frustrating this can be, especially since you’re in your 60-day dining reservation window! The Cast Member I spoke with recommended
checking availability online daily, or calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-3463 (DINE) for any updated information.
If you’re open to eating at any of the
Downtown Disney District dining locations, or any of the restaurants in the
Disneyland Resort hotels, you can go ahead and make reservations for those locations for breakfast, lunch, or dinner now. Since they’re not in the parks, they aren’t affected by this delay. I checked the availability for those restaurants on your arrival day of October 20, 2019, and saw plenty of options currently available.
Are you planning on attending
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party? There’s a party on October 20, in case you’re interested! I recently attended a media preview of this exciting new event, and I think it’s going to be spook-tacular! Tickets are currently still available, but are going fast as September approaches, so I’d recommend
purchasing tickets soon, if you haven’t already.
Lastly, keep in mind that dinner reservations won’t be available at Disney California Adventure Park on Oogie Boogie Bash nights, such as your visit on October 20.
Quick-service dining locations will still be available, as will
Carthay Circle Lounge.
Wishing you many happy haunts this October, Jennifer!
