Hi again, Jane!
So glad you stopped back by with a follow-up question about your
Disney Magic at Sea sailing. The first word that comes to mind after hearing you will be experiencing this amazing itinerary is "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"!
Sounds like you have already tried to make reservations for the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, either
online or through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. And since you have said that your granddaughter already has her reservation, I would assume that you already have your cruise paid in full. Then the main issue is that the boutique must have already reached capacity with reservations.
The spoonful of sugar is that your granddaughter does have her appointment all arranged, and you can accompany her to the salon since Guests under age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Disney Cruise Line also says that new inventory may become available at any time, so keep checking leading up to your cruise. I would also check with Guest Services as soon as you board to see if any openings have been released or cancellations made.
Another idea for a special experience to share with your granddaughter is the
Royal Court Royal Tea. For the Disney Magic at Sea itineraries, this experience is only on the 3 or 4 nights. The Royal Court Royal Tea is custom made for kids ages 3-12. Besides tea and delicious treats, there will be stories, dancing, and singing. Kids will also receive a special assortment of gifts and a visit from some of their favorite princess friends from a safe distance. Here’s how to claim a seat at the royal table: go to "My Cruise Activities" online. If it's filled up, talk to one of the Cast Members at
Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) as soon as you arrive onboard.
Jane, if you need any further help charting a course to your vacation, "step in time" back to planDisney. I sure hope that you are able to make those MAGICal reservations and that your voyage is “practically perfect in every way!”
Happy Sailing!
