I'm trying to book ADR for our upcoming trip, and one of our family members is a vegetarian. I've noticed a lot of menus are meat-heavy (O'Hana, Liberty Tree Tavern). Do restaurants have vegetarian options that aren't on the menu? Thanks!

    Hi Diana,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

We’ve visited Walt Disney World Resort with vegetarians several times and  I’ve always been pleasantly surprised at how many options are available to them, even when the items aren’t necessarily on the menu (which seemed to be the case at family style restaurants).

For example, at ‘Ohana, a friend of ours had a great fried tofu dish instead of the skewers during one of our visits, and he was absolutely thrilled with his meal. While I’ve never visited Liberty Tree Tavern with a vegetarian, they likely have some similar options in order to accommodate those who enjoy plant-based diets.

If you’re looking at your options, I strongly recommend a visit to either Sanaa or Boma - Flavors of Africa if you want to find a meal that will delight both the meat eaters and the vegetarians in your group!

I would recommend checking out the Special Dietary Requests page for more information. You can also email the Special Diets team for more information once you’ve made your dining choices.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
