    Hiya Ricardo,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Florida Resident Theme Park Ticket question! And first things first—congratulations on your big move to the Sunshine State!  Having lived here for almost two decades myself, I can tell you there’s nothing quite like calling Florida home—especially when The Most Magical Place on Earth is practically in your backyard. It’s such a treat to pop into the parks on a whim for a day of fun or enjoy a full weekend getaway surrounded by Disney magic.

Now, let’s talk tickets! When purchasing, be sure to select the Florida Resident option under the Tickets section on the Disney World website. You’ll also see a “See Florida Resident Offers” link, which lists special discounts available exclusively to Florida residents. Once you select your tickets, remember that standard date-based tickets require you to choose a start date at the time of purchase.

You can verify your residency right on the website if you have one of the following:

    • A valid Florida driver’s license with a Florida address
    • A valid Florida state-issued ID card with a Florida address
    • Or a valid Florida-based military ID

If you’re unable to verify online, no worries! You can also purchase your tickets in person at any Ticket Center or Guest Relations location, including Disney Springs. Just remember to bring proof of Florida residency, which can include one of the following (dated within the past two months), along with a photo ID:

    • Current mortgage statement or homeowner’s insurance policy/bill
    • Current automobile registration or insurance bill
    • Current utility bill (power, phone, cable, or water)
    • Mail from a financial institution (checking, savings, or investment account)
    • Mail from a federal, state, county, or city government agency
Once you’ve got your Florida Resident tickets in hand, you’re ready to start making magical memories! Whether it’s enjoying your first Dole Whip as a local, hopping on the monorail just because, or watching the fireworks at Magic Kingdom after work (yes, that’s a thing here!). You’re about to experience a whole new level of Disney magic.

Ricardo, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
