Im going on a trip with my family (2 senior in their 70s, 4 adults, 1 teenager, 1 kid and 1 8-month baby). I read about rider switch (will be used wity the baby), and some people say that you can use with fastpass for half of the group. Is that really ok?

    Olá Maria Izabel!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question!

It is always a pleasure to help a fellow Brazilian plan magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I really appreciate the fact that you have decided to reach out to us to learn more about FastPass+ and Rider Switch.

Rider Switch is a great feature that allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with Guests who are unable to ride a certain attraction. You are welcome to request Rider Switch service by approaching Cast Members at the entrance of participating attractions. Please note that your whole party must be present!

The adults waiting outside will be issued a Rider Switch entitlement that can be used after the first group rides the attraction and comes back to take over supervision of the baby. The first group to experience the attraction has to use the regular queue, and the Guests returning with the Rider Switch entitlement will be allowed to enter and board the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue a second time.

Please note that you do not need to request Rider Switch service at the attractions you will be enjoying with FastPass+ service since your group can take turns watching the baby. One group will simply enter the attraction using the FastPass+ queue while the other group waits, and then after the first group returns the second group can use their FastPass+ entitlements.

I hope this helps you while planning, Maria Izabel! Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel in Portuguese next time. It will be a pleasure to answer your questions in our language.
