Hi! I'm treating my 64yr old mom to her FIRST visit to Disneyland. I was wondering about doing the World of Color Dining package vs the WOC dessert viewing? I've been many times, but want to make it extra special for her! Any other suggestions?

    Hello Heather!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week. I love how you are taking your mom to Disneyland Resort! It’s truly fun and pixie dust for ALL ages!

My personal favorite World of Color Dining Package is Wine Country Trattoria. Such amazing food and the atmosphere is slightly upscale, while still feeling comfortable as you are in Disney California Adventure Park. I try to time my reservation just right (slightly before 5pm) and ask to be seated outside along the wall and then have a front row view for the The Incredibles H.I.T. Squad – Heroes in Training Parade as well, right from the table! Alternatively, I’ll make the reservation for just after the parade but still watch from the waiting area by the restaurant.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
