I'm travelling to WDW in 50 days :D! I have accumulated a lot of gift cards to help pay for meals/souvenirs. Can I add them to my magic band?

    Hi Jennifer!
Collecting gift cards is a great way to save for a Disney Parks vacation!  My family does that for every trip.  During my most recent trip I brought along gift cards.  When I checked in I inquired about putting the gift cards "on" my MagicBand.  The lovely Cast Member that was checking me in informed me that she was unable to put the cards on my band. The best alternative solution for me was to provide my credit card for charging privileges.   Then, before my card was charged, I stopped by the front desk and paid my balance with the gift cards.  Your credit card will not incur any charges until you reach an amount preset by your resort.  Simply ask at check in to find out what your resort sets as a charging limit before you card is charged.  If you want to avoid a charge on your credit card, be sure to pay your balance the day before check out.

Have a great time at the Walt Disney World Resort.  If you have more questions, the Disney Parks Moms Panel is here for you!

    See ya real soon!
