Hey, Joanne! Welcome to planDisney.
I'm so glad I can help you plan your great, big, beautiful tomorrow. The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is free for
qualifying Guests and allows them to make attraction return time selections using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. This drastically reduces wait times in line and allows Guests to maximize the joy of their Walt Disney World trip.
As a UK-based Guest, you can't currently pre-register your son for DAS. However, you'll be pleased to know you can register your son for DAS once your family arrives at the Walt Disney World Resort. Here's what you need to do, Joanne: Once you enter your first theme park, simply stop by
Guest Relations with your son and you'll find a helpful Cast Member who'll be able to talk through your son's particular needs and, if appropriate, complete the registration process for you. You'll then have DAS for the next 60 days.
If you do this on the morning of your first day, you shouldn't have any trouble selecting return times. There will be loads of attractions to choose from, Joanna. If you combine DAS with
Disney Genie+, you'll be able to experience a ton of attractions during your Disney day.
I hope that's helpful, Joanne. I trust your family will have a "practically perfect" time.
Mike
