I'm travelling from the UK to Disney World in August. I want reserve for Droid Depot, but the Tours & Recreation line recorded message says I can only reserve via the concierge at my hotel or a ticket office. Won't that be too late?

    Hello David,

As the current UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, it's my pleasure to welcome you here to our pixie-dusted spot.

I'm thrilled to hear you have a jolly summer holiday already planned for next month at Walt Disney World Resort!  I always think that August, and in fact the whole of the summer is such a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time to visit the most magical place on earth as everything seems to look extra magical and sparkly in the Florida sun.  Although, you certainly won't want to forget to wear sunscreen and to keep properly hydrated with plenty of water too!

As I'm also a Guest from the United Kingdom, I'm able to completely understand your valid enquiry about making reservations for activities within Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios during your upcoming August holiday at Walt Disney World Resort.

David at this time, I'm more than happy to share that Guests like you and I from the United Kingdom, are able to make over-the-phone reservations for offerings from the Enchanting Extras Collection, such as the Droid Depot at Walt Disney World Resort, or Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers.

Reservations can be made by connecting with helpful Cast Members by calling the UK freephone number for Tours, Recreation contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.

When thinking about the recorded message encountered when you've previously tried to connect with Tours, Recreation; the only thing I can assume is that it was a generic message.  I assure you that to the very best of my current knowledge, it should be possible for Guests from the UK to secure reservations over the phone.

Additionally, it might be worth knowing that upon arrival in the United States of America, Guests are more also than welcome to try and secure any available online reservations for offerings from the Enchanting Extras Collection by accessing the US-based www.DisneyWorld.Disney.go.com website.

I understand your valid concerns about the possibility of being a little late to the Star Wars party.  But in my experience, Guests do change their plans all the time!  Therefore, it really can be possible to seek out any potential walk-up or day-of availability for the Droid Depot at Walt Disney World Resort by enquiring at Guest Relations at Disney's Hollywood Studios, or indeed at the venue itself.

However, please bear in mind that everything at Walt Disney World Resort is always subject to change, current availability, and any other operational needs.

David, I sincerely hope I've been able to provide a little insight for you today.  Even though I sense the Force is strong with you... if you should happen to have any further questions, then please do pop back to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
