I’m travelling from the U.K., I booked my holiday in January this year and I prepaid for genie+, will this automatically be added to my app when we check in? It’s not current showing anywhere that we have it booked

Hiya Beth - welcome back to planDisney!

Your exciting Walt Disney World Resort holiday is just around the corner! I see that my friend Greg already answered your question about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so I'll skip my usual preaching about how fun it is - have a blast!

At Walt Disney World Resort, there are many different Theme Park Ticket types, as well as various add-ons. As a Guest from the U.K., you also have some unique ticket options not available to other Guests. If you're certain that your tickets included the Disney Genie+ Service, then you don't have anything to worry about - it was included in many ticket offerings! Genie+ was widely available to purchase in advance, but now is something you'd purchase each day. Genie+ added to any ticket before this change will still be honored!

From my experience, it isn't always possible to see that Genie+ is already included with a ticket. I'm actually not sure if this is how it has always been, or if the fact that Genie+ can no longer be purchased in advance has something to do with it. For example, I have several tickets in my My Disney Experience account that I know have Genie+ included, but the ticket's description does not mention it. You can visit the Tickets and Passes section in the My Disney Experience Mobile App or the My Plans section of your account online to look at your tickets.

If you're concerned about your tickets, I suggest you reach out to either the travel professional who helped you make your plans (if you used one) or a Cast Member who can help you confirm that your tickets are set up as you expect them to be. Alternatively, you can visit any Ticket Window or Guest Relations location at Walt Disney World Resort once you're on this side of the pond!

I hope this information is helpful, Beth, and I'm sorry I can't offer a more specific answer - have a wonderful upcoming visit!
