I'm travelling with extended family (about 20 of us) to Disney World Dec 17-24 and I personally have two preschoolers- a will be nearly 4 yr old and a just turned 2 yr old- what should I be sure to "hit" and what should I skip? Also for meals?

    Jen,

Your 4 year old and 2 year old are going to be such a joy for you to watch. Their eyes will light up countless times at the Magic of Disney. You didn't mention the gender of the children so I will give you a few ideas for both.  I'll give you a "must do" for the kids  at 2 parks. First of all, Magic Kingdom is a great place to start just because Cinderella's Castle is so iconic. The walk up Main Street U.S.A. toward the castle is like the last mile to all of the magic. While visiting Magic Kingdom, of course you must go to Fantasyland where you will find the most popular kids rides, This is where to find Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary adventures and the Mad Tea Party (tea cups). The whole crew should experience PhilharMagic, my favorite 3-D experience of all.  At Hollywood Studios be sure to take the pre-schoolers to the Disney Junior show where they can see all of their Disney Junior Characters from television come to life. This will be one of the definite highlights of your kids' visit.

Let your kids get Princess and Pirate Makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or the Pirate's League respectively.

And as far as meals go, the most coveted reservation at WDW, is Cinderella's Royal Table. This a certain must do if you can get it. Try Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Hotel where Mickey Mouse cooks with his friends. This is a fun meal for all members of your party. Make sure to make your reservations very early.

I hope this gives you a starting point, have a magical vacation at the House of Mouse.
