Epcot at Dusk

Sofia from Quintana Roo Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I’m travelling and will be in Epcot on November 17th. Since we are from Mexico it is hard for us to visit the parks as much. We really wanted to dine at Space 220 but there isn’t availability. Is there a waiting list in case someone cancels? Thank you!!

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Sofia!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! You’re about to step into a place where dreams sparkle a little brighter, food tastes a little yummier, and even the air feels sprinkled with pixie dust. Whether you’re walking through EPCOT, "soarin'" on your favorite attractions, or just soaking in the music and MAGIC, every moment is going to be unforgettable. So grab your Mickey ears, charge your camera, and get ready for an adventure that’s truly out of this world!

Now, how exciting that you’ll be in EPCOT in a few weeks! That’s such a special visit, especially since it’s not easy for you to come all the way from Mexico. I can totally understand why Space 220 is at the top of your list, as it’s one of EPCOT’s most talked-about dining experiences! The views, the “space elevator,” and the immersive vibe make it feel like you’re actually dining among the stars.

So, here is the scoop...Space 220 doesn’t have a formal waiting list if reservations are full, but don’t lose hope! The best trick is to keep checking back on the My Disney Experience app—and I mean often. Guests cancel all the time, especially in the last couple of days before their reservation, and sometimes even the morning of. Disney’s cancellation policy allows guests to cancel up to two hours before their reservation without penalty, which means new times can suddenly become available. So, refresh the app at different times of the day, and you might catch a last-minute opening before anyone else does.

If you still don’t see availability online, you could swing by the Space 220 host stand in person—ideally about 45 to 60 minutes before the restaurant opens. On a rare occasion, a Cast Member can squeeze in a few lucky guests due to same-day cancellations. It’s not guaranteed, but you’d be surprised how some space travelers get lucky that way! And if all else fails, you could also try the Space 220 Lounge. It has the same incredible atmosphere, and you can still enjoy many of the restaurant’s signature bites while gazing out at the stars.

So keep your hopes high, keep your app open, and keep dreaming of that incredible launch into orbit. With a little persistence (and maybe some Disney luck), you just might find yourself dining among the galaxies after all!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
