Hi! I'm travelling to Disney world for the first time with my husband and 4 year old in August! We are completely lost and don't know where to start in regards to planning our week there. please guide us! Her favourite is Minnie Mouse

    Hi Giselle!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World (WDW)! Your entire family is going to have a magical time!

First, don't worry at all, here at the Disney Moms Panel, we can help answer all of your questions to help make your trip wonderful.

I highly suggest booking your WDW resort and tickets together on the Disney World website. You can check room and ticket rates for the dates that you want to stay. You can compare rates and availability. Once you book your room and tickets you can begin use My Disney Experience (MDE) to plan the details for your trip. You can book your Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance.

You can also book your FastPasses in advance on MDE. You can book them 60 days in advance if you have a WDW vacation package or 30 days in advance if you have a park ticket or annual pass.

I recommend that prior to booking your ADRs and your FastPasses that you decide which park you will be visiting on each day.Your four-year old will love Magic Kingdom and you can meet Minnie Mouse there. I also suggest booking an ADR at a character meal in which Minnie will be present, such as Chef Mickey's at The Contemporary.

I hope you have a magical trip!
