Aloha Megan!
You are getting so close to your upcoming February holiday at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai‘i! You must be so excited! My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Aulani in March and we simply can't wait to return. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Megan, your two older children are bound to have a fantastic time at Aunty's Beach House, offering complimentary child care services for children aged 3-12. In fact, often times children have so much fun here that they don't want to leave!
If you are looking for a place for your baby to nap by the beach or pool, there are lots of options. There are plenty of shady spots with umbrellas nestled throughout the lounge areas surrounding the main Waikolohe Pool. However, do be aware that many of these spots do tend to fill up early so plan on arriving as soon as possible in the morning.
Aulani also provides complimentary lounge chairs on the beach for guests which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Many of these lounge chairs come with umbrellas which are capable of providing shade from the sun. During our time at Aulani, I found it was relatively easy to find lounge chairs with umbrellas on the beach as opposed to in the pool areas of the Resort, which tended to fill up quickly each morning. In fact, once we found our favorite spot on the beach, we much preferred spending our time here as the gorgeous views from Aulani's beach, with the sounds of waves crashing in the distance, simply can't be beat!
Your other option would be to rent a beachside casabella, a 2-seat lounger with a sunshade awning, which are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis from Makiki Joe's, which is located on the beach adjacent to the Waikolohe Valley pool area.
I hope this options are helpful as you continue planning your upcoming 'Ohana vacation at Aulani!
Mahalo!
