Im traveling with younger kids and older kids together what attractions are both entertaining and appropriate for both groups?

    Hi Skylar!

You didn't mention specific ages, but my family has a broad range of ages from four to 13, and there are many attractions that can appeal to the whole family in every park. Here are just a few highlights:

    * EPCOT: Many rides that have height requirements frequently have activities near the entrance or exit of the attraction to keep a little one happy while older siblings are riding. For example, at the end of Mission: SPACE, there is an inside tunnel playground. At the end of Test Track, there is a car showroom.

    * DISNEY STUDIOS: The shows offer this park's biggest variety: Whether it's "Light, Motors, Action" or Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, there's plenty of action to keep everyone's attention. Don't forget to grab a fast pass for Toy Story Mania as soon as you get to the park!

    * MAGIC KINGDOM: Entice your older kids to ride attractions in Fantasyland with a younger sibling by suggesting they look for hidden Mickeys. You might even want to buy a hidden Mickey book that creates scavenger hunts in the park.

    * ANIMAL KINGDOM: To me, it's the park where our family does almost everything together. We love the Kilomanjari Safari in the morning and then Flights of Wonder. You'll find that all of the shows are appealing to all ages, especially Festival of the Lion King and It's Tough to be a Bug.

Don't forget the parades and street parties at each park---how does the saying go? Everyone LOVES a parade?

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
