I'm traveling with my young grandchildren. Since they would need a break from the park and rest at a pool or water park, what would be the better time to travel- November 11th or December 2nd?

Traveling with grandchildren is an unbelievable experience at Walt Disney World!  Jennifer, prepare yourself for a wonderful and magical time.  I have many great memories about our trips with my own children and now have the privilege of sharing the vacations with my three grandchildren.  They all point to Florida and call it Mickey's Land!

If you are looking for the warmest time to come then I would certainly suggest coming early in November over the December date.  As the year creeps to an end the weather seems to get quite unpredictable.   I have spent many Thanksgiving holidays and December vacations in the parks and I have been so hot I thought it was summer and so cold I couldn't believe I was actually in Florida. Unfortunately, mother nature doesn't share her plans with any of us when we try to make vacation plans so you do the best you can and hope!

The average high temperatures for November range around 79 degrees with the lows being about 59 degrees. The averages in December will be about 73 degrees for the highs and 53 degrees for the lows. For swimming...my vote is the November vacation!
