Hey, Tonia and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Forget Captain Marvel, Luke Skywalker, Moana, and Hercules, you Tonia are the true hero traveling from the Volunteer State to give your children an adventure at the place "where dreams come true." Bravo!
I have been in your shoes more times then I can remember. It is me and my two Mouseketeers who head to the "Most Magical Place on Earth" to see Mickey and crush the theme park attractions. It is tough as a party of three but we have mastered it and you will too. Remember there are many attractions where the three of you can travel together. A couple of my favorites are Peter Pan's Flight and the Haunted Mansion.
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is not some silly dark ride. It is full of twists and turns as you escape the Yeti. Watch out! You and your four-year-old will be seated together and your six-year-old will need to share a train car with another Guest who is over 14 years old. Believe me, there are plenty of people ready to help you out as they too want to face the Yeti.
Officially, the rules are that all Guests under 7 must be accompanied by a person 14 years or older. Disney Dad Tip: When traveling alone with little kids be sure to make time to play. I loved taking my kids to
The Boneyard to dig for fossils at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, to explore the caves and log bridge on Tom Sawyer Island and to bring a swimsuit for the
Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station both at Magic Kingdom Park.
Tonia, enjoy being their hero as you make many Magical Memories.
