I'm traveling with a 6 and 2 year old in November. My 6 year old is a very picky eater. Looking for dining reservations to get where he can actually eat. What are your must have kid-friendly dining reservations?

Greetings Jennifer and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We are delighted to answer your first question and assist you in planning magical moments for your family at the Walt Disney World Resort.

As the mother of a very picky 7-year-old girl I can totally understand how you feel, but I really believe that restaurant suggestions depend on what you feel your child likes to eat, so I am going to give you tips that work for me and my family.

I have found out that buffet restaurants are usually the best for my daughter, because she can pick whatever she prefers, and her choices can be either from the adult or children stations. This is also a great option for your 2-year-old, since kids this young do not have to pay. Some of my daughter’s favorite buffet restaurants at the parks are Biergarten Restaurant, Hollywood & Vine, The Crystal Palace, and Tusker House Restaurant, and Cape May Cafe (breakfast), 1900 Park Fare, and Chef Mickey’s at Disney Resort hotels.

Another great option is deciding where you would like to dine and then checking menus online for each restaurant. By doing this we have found some great table-service options for our girl such as Teppan Edo, Le Cellier, California Grill, Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater Restaurant, and Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. Please note that all menus are subject to change without notice. In addition, Cast Members have always been great with helping us make changes and substitutions to her orders, like French fries instead of mashed potatoes. Even at ‘Ohana they were able to provide her with different options, but again, this is not guaranteed and really depends on each venue.

I hope this helps while planning! Please stop by if you have additional questions.

Best magical wishes and dining experiences,
    Thiana
