Hi Heather!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you're bringing your
tiny Mouseketeer to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I first brought my son at 14-months-old and we had so much fun watching him toddle to his favorite Disney Pals. One huge tip - utilize Disney's PhotoPass Photographers and purchase the
Memory Maker Package. I brought our big camera with us on our first few Walt Disney World Resort trips thinking I'd be able to capture the same photos that the professionals took, but I cannot tell you how nice it was being able to enjoy and be present in those moments instead of being the one to capture them.
Yes!
Most Disney Resort Hotels do offer portable cribs and even bed rails for older children to use throughout their stay. Requests for these items can be accommodated at check-in, however it's best to add these items to your reservation in advance. Quantities are limited, however I have seen Cast Members work very hard to accommodate families with littles by borrowing cribs from neighboring resorts. Don't forget to bring your child's favorite bedtime necessities, like their special blanket or sound machine!
When you're in the parks enjoying your Disney Days, definitely stop by the
Baby Care Centers. Here you can do everything from change a diaper to prepare a baby-friendly meal in a microwave, bottle warmer, or even a traditional oven. Baby care centers even sell diapers, baby and toddler foods, and anything else you might need. We've even ducked in one to take a break mid-melt down.
We'll See You Real Soon, Heather!
