I'm traveling to WDW with a 12 yo who is not mine. She does have her own smart phone. Would her parents be able to create and account for her and link a CC to it for food purchases?

    Hey there, Denise!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here, so I hope you're ready to have lots of magical fun! And this must be a very special little girl for you to be taking her on such an awesome vacation. I'm sure she is beyond excited!

Unfortunately, it's not possible to link a credit card to a My Disney Experience account. You can only link a credit card to your Disney Resort Hotel room and then make purchases using your MagicBand. Those charges actually go to your resort room folio and will be charged to your credit card on file on your check-out date. A good option might be for the girl's parents to send her with a Disney Gift Card. That would give her a way to make purchases for herself without the need to carry cash. Or she could use her MagicBand to charge back to the room, and then you could use the gift card to pay for her portion prior to your credit card being run. All of the charges on your room folio will show whose MagicBand was used for each purchase. So in other words, it wouldn't be too hard to add up what she had spent. Just be sure to stop by the front desk the day before you check out to take care of her charges if you decide to go this route.

I hope that helps give you some ideas of what you can do. If we can answer any other questions for you, please just let us know. I hope y'all have an amazing trip!
