I'm traveling to WDW May 20th (soon!)My sisters birthday is a few days after we get home, but I would like to surprise her with something special while we're there. Just not sure what without spending a lot of money?

Hi, Abigail!  What an awesome sister you are!  You could give pointers to my daughters!

There are so many options to add a little birthday magic to your trip.  You can custom make Mouse Ears at Downtown Disney that have options that include confetti and fireworks and birthday patches.  You could also make her a tee shirt at the Hanes Design a Tee in Downtown Disney, customized with any wording you like.

How about a hot air balloon ride, where she'll be able to see all around the Walt Disney World resort area.  That will cost about $18 per person, but is a wonderful experience.

Grab a birthday button when you enter the theme park at Guest Services.  The buttons are free, but she'll get a little extra attention from guests and cast members alike as she celebrates her birthday!

You can order a birthday cake just for her!  There are premade cakes that you can request when you check in at the podium at any table service restaurant, or you can call ahead for specialty cakes, including one shaped like Mickey Mouse.  Give those at least 48 hours advance notice by calling  (407) 827-2253.

There are also options available to celebrate birthday through The Disney Florist.  You can sort by price, so you'll find items that fit within your budget.

I hope your sister has an absolutely magical birthday!
