I'm traveling to WDW in Jan. with 3 kids (5, 3 and 8 months). I plan to use only disney transportation (airport shuttle, monorail and busses). What should I bring regarding car seats and strollers for the airport and disney parks?

    Hi Debra,

Looks like you have a magical vacation just around the corner.  Your family must be so excited!

You will not be required to have car seats with you if you will be relying entirely upon complimentary Disney transportation throughout the course of your stay.  Strollers, however, are an entirely different story.  With three little ones, you will definitely want to have strollers available.  Bringing your own will save you plenty of money and afford you non-stop access to the strollers throughout your vacation.  I would heartily encourage you to have a stroller seat available for your five-year-old too, even if he or she doesn't typically use a stroller in his or her everyday life.  You will all engage in a considerable amount of walking during your vacation and your five-year-old will likely be quite relieved to have a place to rest from time to time.  Light-weight umbrella strollers are a great option because they are easy to fold up.  Some forms of Disney transportation, including the buses, necessitate that strollers be collapsed during the ride.  Bulkier strollers are permitted, but they're harder to wrangle, especially with several little ones to guide.

Let us know, Debra, if you have any additional questions with which we can assist you.  I imagine that your young family is going to have a truly magical time next month.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
