I'm traveling to WDW for the first time with our 8 month old. Will dining be able to accommodate infant friendly meals (e.g. no sauce or salt, etc)

Hi there, Bryan! Welcome to planDisney!

What a magical adventure for your little Mouseketeer! The Walt Disney World Resort loves celebrating any occasion, but the first trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is arguably the most special! Even though your little one is a bit small to safely sport a Celebration Button, you may want to pick one up to keep as a souvenir from her first trip! These buttons are usually available at most indoor merchandise locations in the parks, as well as Guest Relations locations. But in my opinion, the easiest place to grab one is at the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel!

Bryan, Walt Disney World prides itself on being welcoming and inclusive to Guests of all ages, even infants! When it comes to dining, the lovely chefs throughout the premises are happy to accommodate any requests. These aren't your normal, run-of-the-mill restaurants, but rather pixie-dusted happy places that LOVE serving even the youngest visitors! At restaurants where you order from a specific menu, you'll be able to put in your question upon telling the Cast Member what your little one would like. At family-style restaurants, like 'Ohana or Chef Mickey's, you may want to let your server know ahead of time before they bring out any food! At buffet-style restaurants, there is likely something that will fit your little one's dietary preferences, but if nothing seems to fit the bill, you can tell your server or any Cast Member and they will do their best to grant your wish! Overall, I think you'll be happy with the options available for your 8-month-old and with the level of service provided to make their dining dreams come true.

The days of traveling with an infant are just barely in my rearview mirror, Bryan, so feel free to reach back out to me with any additional questions! I remember all too well both the excitement and challenges of vacationing with an infant and I happen to know Walt Disney World like the back of my hand! I am here to help and make this vacation your most magical one yet!
