I'm traveling to WDW in 4 days with my 2 yr old son and wanted to try a water park. Would you recommend Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon? He loves the water, especially slides and splash zones. Also, can parents accompany toddlers in the kiddie areas? Thx!

Hi Jessica.    Based upon my experience, with a 2 year old I would lean more towards Typhoon Lagoon.   While both parks have really fun areas for children, Ketchakiddee Creek at Typhoon Lagoon is particularly targeted towards the younger ones.   This area has a maximum height restriction of 48 inches and offered many attractions great for your sons age.

In most parts of this area you can follow your child around.  The good news is that there are plenty of Disney life guards around as well to make sure all goes well.   Enjoy your upcoming trip!
