I'm traveling to WDW and my baby will be 18 months. I know there are plenty of rides for him to ride...but my question is how he rides. It's just 2 adults and the baby. Will we be able to ride most rides as a family? Can he ride between us or on a lap?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Margaret!

Traveling to Disney with a little one is so exciting! I love to see their reaction to everything! You are correct, there will be plenty of rides for your little to ride with you. You will be able to ride most of them as a family and can hold him on your lap for most. When my boys got a little bigger, they asked us to put them in the seat beside us for attractions that lift up like Dumbo.  No worries though - you're going to have a great day riding together as a family.

Here are some things I've found helpful when traveling to Disney with little ones:

    * Take advantage of the Baby Care Centers located in all 4 theme parks.
    * Bring something to help keep your baby entertained in line - favorite small toys, snacks, bubbles, etc.
    * Be sure to give him breaks from his stroller.
    * Try (it may be hard) to stick to nap times.
    * Keep your baby fed and well hydrated (that goes for you too).
    * I answered a question for another guest with some tips on strollers that you may also found find helpful.
    * If you see that your baby has had enough for the day, pack it up and head back to your resort. You may not get to do everything on your trip, but you will enjoy everything you do.
