I'm traveling with a VERY picky eater in May. Basically my grandson lives on chicken nuggets. Are there McDonalds at WDW?

    Hi, Karen!

Oh, the amount of chicken nuggets my kids have eaten over the years! I know exactly how you feel about the need for those Golden Arches to feed the kids.

There is only one McDonald's on property. It is a free standing building located near the All-Star Resorts. Bus transportation is not available to get to it, so you would need a car or hire a taxi.

But, have no fear! You really can't go very far in Walt Disney World without finding breaded chicken nuggets at both Quick Service and Table Service locations. Even the restaurants in Mexico in Epcot have the nuggets ready and waiting.  Not all locations will have ranch or BBQ dipping sauces, so when I see packets (at food courts or condiment tables) I grab a few extra for my tote bag so I am ready for a "ranch emergency!"  I sometimes feel like Mary Poppins - I can pull just about anything out of my handy dandy tote bag when I'm on vacation!

Other kid-friendly foods are readily available:  pizza, french fries, apple sauce, grapes, bananas, and chocolate milk.  I hope your grandson finds plenty to eat in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
