Hi Mike! Welcome to the Moms Panel.
I also have teens and adult children, and find we need a lot more space now when we travel than when they were little.
I recently spoke with a Cast Member to confirm that a limited number of cots or roll-away beds are available upon request for an additional fee. You may add this request by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation line at 407-939-1936 when you reserve your stay, or to add the request to your reservation. Keep in mind this is only a request and cannot be guaranteed.
There are quite a few options I think might be a better fit for your family without needing an additional cot. Many rooms at Disney's
Deluxe Resort Hotels provide 2 Queen Beds and a Day Bed or Twin-Size Sleeper Chair. Some Moderate Resort Hotel rooms at Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside Resort and
Caribbean Beach Resort have "5th Sleeper" rooms with 2 Queen Beds and a Child-Size Pull-Down Bed that would be suitable for a small adult or teen. Another option is a
Wilderness Cabin at Fort Wilderness Resort.
You might prefer a Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort that provides 1 Queen Bed, 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa, and a Double-Size Table Bed, which is similar to a Murphy bed and converts to a table when folded up. The suites also have a small refrigerator and microwave as well as two full bathrooms. All Disney Resort Hotel guests enjoy the same perks and
benefits, including complimentary Magical Express airport transportation and access to Extra Magic Hours.
Please come back if you have additional questions.
