Hi! I'm going to be traveling with my mother in law and she needs a a ecv/evc. I was wondering if Magic kingdom has these and what is the availability like. Also can I reserve one in advance? And what is the earliest I can pick this up?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Panel, Manpreet!

You will find Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) Rentals available in all four theme parks and at Disney Springs. These units are rented on a first come, first-served basis and reservations are not accepted. Keep in mind that these units must remain in the park where rented. The Magic Kingdom rental location typically opens about 30 minutes before theme park opening for Guests needing to secure a unit for the day and is located on the right just past the admission gates.

Some Guests prefer to rent a unit from an outside source, so they have more flexibility during the vacation. You can find a list of Disney featured providers at the bottom of the above-linked ECV page. On several occasions, I have rented a unit for my mom from Buena Vista Scooter Rentals. The prices are reasonable, and they will deliver the ECV right to my Disney Resort hotel. Your mother-in-law may want to consider this option, especially if you plan to visit more of the Walt Disney World Resort property.

I hope this helps with your planning, Manpreet! Please visit us again should you have additional questions before your visit.

    Have a magical day!
