Hi Carlos! Welcome to planDisney, where our passion is helping Guests make the most out of their Disney vacations!
Planning out and making your
advanced dining reservations is very important when preparing for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. And you are already ahead of the game! Last summer, I celebrated a milestone birthday with my family, and like you, we had to split most of our reservations into two separate reservations at the same time and at the same place. Our party of 7 thoroughly enjoyed each of our meals, especially at
SPACE 220 Restaurant in
EPCOT and
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in
Disney Springs!
Since you have a large group and two separate reservations, I would suggest you arrive early to the restaurant and ask a Cast Member at the host stand if your large group can sit together. Please note that this is not guaranteed, especially on busy days and in certain restaurants. If they can honor your request, it may take longer than usual for your table to be ready. In case you are not able to sit together, make sure you have a plan for who will sit at each of the two separate tables. And don't worry, if this happens, you'll still make some magical memories and be together in no time riding your
favorite attractions and enjoying your
favorite shows!
Since you will be visiting the resort this coming September, make sure you check out the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Not only do the
Global Marketplaces have some outstanding menu items, but you may also want to catch an awesome musical act through the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series! And while you're in EPCOT, be sure to save the galaxy by riding the epic coaster
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! At this time, this attraction is being offered through a Virtual Queue, but you'll want to ensure that is still the case when you are at the resort. Follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements related to this attraction and other exciting news.
Carlos, I hope your family has a wonderful time at the resort and enjoys some truly unique culinary adventures. If you have any other questions,
please reach out to me and I'd be happy to help!
Eat all the good stuff,
Matt
