Florencia Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi! I’m traveling with my husband and our two 5-year-old children. They don’t meet the height requirement for Avatar Flight of Passage, so we’ll use Rider Switch. If we purchase Individual Lightning Lane, do both adults need one, or is one enough? Thanks!

Hey there, Florencia, and welcome to planDisney!

Seeing the Disney magic through the eyes of your little ones is such a beautiful experience. But when those little vantage points are a little too close to the ground to ride certain attractions, it can be a bit challenging. But I've got you covered on what to do to keep the party going.

You're on the right track with your plan to use Rider Switch Service so you and your husband can ride Avatar Flight of Passage. One of you will be able to stay with your babies while the other jets away on a banshee. The caveat is that you'll both need Individual Lightning Lanes to take advantage of the faster-moving queue.

Pro-tip: If you plan to use Lightning Lane Multi Pass, the same rules apply. Everyone who's riding will need to have purchased the service.

Florencia, have a magical time with your family. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
